TACOMA, Wash. — A man died in a collision involving a Pierce Transit bus and an SUV Friday night, according to the Tacoma Police Department.
Tacoma police spokesperson Wendy Haddow said a bus was going northbound on East McKinley Way when an SUV going southbound crossed the center line.
The driver, the only person in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries have been reported.
The collision has shut down East McKinley between East Wright Avenue and East G Street.
The crash is under investigation.
