KITSAP COUNTY, Washington — A new twist is brewing in Kitsap County’s plans to regulate scantily clad “bikini barista” coffee stands.
Since the county can’t legally ban women from wearing revealing clothing, officials are working to keep them from being seen from city streets.
The County Council is working on new regulations that would require bikini baristas to be blocked by an 8-foot-tall fence. That would theoretically keep them from being seen from the street or nearby businesses.
