Former Mars Hill Church members to file racketeering claim

SEATTLE — A group of former members of Seattle-based Mars Hill Church says they're ready to sue.

According to SeattlePI.com, the group claims the church misused funds designated for specific purposes and wants to file a racketeering claim by the end of the year.

The church collapsed earlier this year, weeks after lead pastor Mark Driscoll resigned.

The group says they'll give church leaders a day's notice before they file the lawsuit.
