Shots fired at occupied car, business windows in Bellevue

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Gunshots struck two cars, one of them occupied, as well as the windows of a business at a Bellevue shopping center late Monday.

Bellevue police were called to a report of shots fired at the Kelsey Creek Shopping Center at 15015 Main Street at 11:20 p.m.

Officers arrived to find a business that had its front windows shot out as well as a parked vehicle that had been hit by gunfire.

The incidents are under investigation and the motive is not yet known.  Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or submit a tip online.

Officers later learned that an occupied car had also been hit by gunfire several times. They found the victim nearby and took a statement from her. She was not hurt or struck by the gunshots, but the car she was in had its side and rear windows shot out.
