TACOMA, Wash. — A woman is dead after the car she was driving barreled through a fence and into a front yard in Tacoma, and KIRO 7 talked to the man who discovered the gruesome scene.  It happened just before 2 O’clock Sunday morning at 96th and Yakima.

Tony-- who didn't want to give his last name or show his face on camera-- shot video of firefighters cleaning up the horrific wreck just outside his house.  He says there was nothing they could do-- Tony was the first on the scene, and he says there was nothing he could do.

Tacoma police say the 27-year-old driver of the SUV died instantly when she likely ran a red light and T-boned a tow truck.  Her car ended up through Tony's fence, and he said the sight was disturbing.  But it's the image of the driver's husband arriving at the scene that he says is most disturbing.
