PORT ANGELES, Wash. — Deputies are investigating a Port Angeles home invasion robbery that occurred early Saturday morning, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened at 1:27 a.m. at a house in the 3000 block of Fourth Avenue.
According to the sheriff’s office, three white men, wearing disguises and armed with handguns, broke into the home. A couple was inside the house at the time.
Deputies said water was thrown at the woman, and the robbers demanded the man to open his safe.
The man opened his safe, and the robbers fled the scene with firearms, currency and jewelry from the safe.
According to deputies, the robbers drove away in a small foreign vehicle.
Officers with the Port Angeles Police Department did a search of the area with a K-9 team, but nothing was tracked.
The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office detective bureau will continue to investigate the case.
