RENTON, Wash. — A 21-year-old man was found dead in a light grey car in Renton on Sunday.

A neighbor called in the suspicious car early Sunday morning, at around 6:40 a.m.

The car, a Dodge Charger, was parked off of Hardie Avenue NW, near the City View Church.

On Sunday night, police said they believe the killing was not random.

“When he checked it, there was a male inside, didn’t appear to be breathing, didn’t have a pulse,” said Det. Robert Onishi with Renton Police. “He appeared to have suffered some obvious trauma, and so we’re investigating this as a homicide.”

Renton police secured the scene to collect evidence.
