Fans gave the Seahawks an enthusiastic sendoff into this weekend’s wild-card playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The team bussed from VMAC to the airport and onto Minnesota on Blue Friday.
As you get in your game-focus mindset, here are four things to know about the Seahawks ahead of the NFL playoffs opening week.
1. Seahawks to bundle up in special gear
Seahawks are pulling out all of the stops to prepare to play in historic cold temperatures during Sunday’s game.
The field itself is heated by underground coils. Heaters and heated benches will be on the sidelines. The players will wear special gear for the cold.
When the game kicks off, they'll be lucky if the temperature is above zero.
But Russell Wilson says once the game gets below 20 degrees, it’s all about the same. Playing at Wisconsin, they'd practice at night, and it would get pretty cold.

2. Beast Mode – out
The Seahawks confirmed Friday evening that Marshawn Lynch did not make the trip to Minnesota and is out for Sunday's game.
After being out for weeks because of abdomen surgery, running back Marshawn Lynch was questionable.
A team spokesperson said after final workouts on Friday, Lynch felt like he couldn't play.
3. 11 games left to decide NFL championship
Many picks are being shared around social media ahead of the game, and many are in Seattle’s favor.
"The opening week is a tough one with the four road teams all having a legitimate chance to win the games. I didn't pick all four, but I did take two teams playing away from home," CBS Sports writer Pete Prisco said in an article.
He picks Seahawks to win a close game on Sunday.
“The difference will be the Seattle defense,” he said. “They did a great job on Adrian Peterson in the last game, and will do so again. That will put a lot of pressure on Teddy Bridgewater. The pass rush of the Seahawks will be too much for the Vikings, and the Seattle secondary will get two takeaways to win it.”
4. Rocket-fast Tyler Lockett nominated for “Rookie of the Year”
The wide receiver is one of five nominees for Rookie of the Year at NFL.com.
Lockett, who has had many incredible plays this season, was also voted to the 2016 Pro Bowl as a return specialist.
