BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue boy, Sky Metawala, vanished three years ago Thursday.
Sky Metalwala's mother, Julia Biryukova, said she left the 2-year-old in her car while she went to a gas station after she ran out of gas.
She told investigators when she got back about an hour later, he was gone. Sky hasn't been seen since.

Bellevue police found there were 2.2 gallons of gas in Biryukova's car and it had no mechanical problems.
Investigators said during the search of Biryukova's car and home, no gas can was found. Authorities said they also learned that the child had not been seen by anyone for about two weeks.
Sky’s father, Soloman Metalwala, and Biryukova had gone through a bitter divorce that was finalized a few days before the boy's disappearance. In divorce papers, Metalwala claimed Biryukova had told him of dreams she had about killing their children. In the same papers, Biryukova said Metalwala had been abusive to her and their children. They were also in the midst of a custody battle for the two children.
Police said though foul play was suspected, there were no suspects in the case.
In the past few months, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released an age progression photo showing what the boy would look like now at the age of 5.
