A 6.2-magnitude earthquake about 74 miles northwest of Anchorage, Alaska rattled parts of the state around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
USGS upgraded the magnitude shortly before 4 p.m. from a 5.6.
Alaska Dispatch News reports the earthquake was felt southcentral Alaska.
The National Weather Service sent out a tweet saying a tsunami is not expected.
