WASHINGTON — For some, the countdown begins for Chick-fil-A restaurants opening in the Puget Sound this spring.
The chicken chain's Bellevue store starts serving on Northeast 8th Street on March 26. This will mark the restaurant's first opening in Western Washington.
After that a Chick-fil-A will open in Tacoma and Lynnwood in April.
But not everyone is thrilled about the chain heading to the Sound.
The company's CEO has taken a public anti same-sex marriage stance, and some KIRO 7 viewers have said on Facebook they will be avoid the restaurant.
KIRO 7 asked Seattle voters if they'll eat Chick-fil-A, and here's how they responded after it was announced the restaurant would open.
