Tree falls on power lines, closes road in Bothell

A large tree fell on power trees and blocked both directions of a road in Bothell.

Bothell police reported that Fourth Avenue West was closed between 224th Street Southwest and 221st Place Southwest at 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

The utility is reporting there is an outage for 210 customers.

A Snohomish County PUD crew is at the scene. The tree fell between two power cables.

Crews have reopened one lane on Fourth Avenue West. The tree is cleared but work is still underway to fix power lines.
