Transportation officials are warning about a triple traffic alert this weekend from Snohomish County to Portland.
Drivers should be prepared for slowdowns as two projects and a major event get underway.
Revive I-5 closure
In Snohomish County, WSDOT will repave the trestle on Highway 2.
The Washington State Department of Transportation will close the northbound lanes of I-5 from the West Seattle Bridge to Olive Way in Seattle from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

US 2 closure
The westbound lanes will be closed from Lake Stevens to Everett between State Route 204 and the Homeacres on-ramp from 7 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Monday.
Major bicycle event
In the South Sound, 10,000 bicyclists are expected for this year's Seattle to Portland classic.
Congestion is expected Saturday morning on State Route 7 in Pierce County with delays continuing south on State Route 507 in Thurston and Lewis counties. Read more here.
