SEATTLE — Seattle police are looking for a man after he allegedly slashed a student’s face with a razor blade near the University of Washington.
On Monday afternoon, officers responded to the campus’ Hall Health Center for a student who was being treated after being attacked in the 4700 block of University Way Northeast.
Investigators said the student was walking near the street when she saw the suspect talking to himself.
According to police, the suspect approached her and started assaulting her, and she fell to the ground.
The victim told police she could see the suspect had a razor blade, and slashed it at her face multiple times.
Investigators said the victim got away from the suspect and ran to the health center to get treated. She had a cut and multiple scratches.
Police did not locate the suspect, who they described as a man with dark complexion, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, with a medium-length beard and braided hair that was bunched and pulled up.
