Metro bus stabbing in Federal Way under investigation

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A woman suspected of stabbing a man on a King County Metro bus Saturday in Federal Way was taken into custody.

King County deputies said the stabbing happened about 7:35 p.m. on an A-line bus at South 288th Street and Pacific Highway South.

The man suffered minor stab wounds to his leg and was taken to a local hospital, officials said. The weapon used by the woman was believed to be a knife.

Investigators said the woman who was arrested had a second-degree assault felony warrant.

Authorities said the suspect and victim did not know each other.

Deputies did not say what led to the stabbing, but they are investigating.

No other injuries were reported.
