THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — A K-9 with the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office helped deputies arrest a suspect in a series of hit-and-run collisions Friday night.
“In separate incidents, the suspect struck a building and multiple vehicles, causing injury to the victims,” an official with the Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies located the suspect’s unoccupied vehicle nearby and called in a K-9 to help locate the suspect.
The suspect was booked into jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and driving under the influence.

"K-9 Jaxx tracked the suspect through a wooded area and located the suspect trying to hide in the brush," the Sheriff's Office said. Click here to read more about K-9 Jaxx.
