KENT, Wash. — Drivers are being warned by Kent police that red light traffic camera enforcement will begin Saturday at three intersections where cameras were recently installed.

Police said violators will receive a written warning in the mail as the enforcement starts with a 30-day warning period lasting from July 13 to Aug. 11.
The cameras were installed at the following intersections:
After the 30 days, violators will begin receiving $136 infractions in the mail, officials said.
- Central Avenue and Smith Street
- Central and James Street
- Kent Des Moines Road and Pacific Highway South
This is the first phase of a two-phase project involving red light traffic cameras, officials said.
