BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police are looking for a hit-and-run driver after a bicyclist was struck Wednesday morning.
Officers and medics responded to a report of a bicyclist who was hit in the 3400 bock of 118th Avenue SE near the I-90 overpass after 6 a.m.
When police arrived, they found a 51-year-old injured cyclist, who was wearing a helmet.
According to police, the victim was thrown 100 feet. The cyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Police believe it is possible that the driver involved was unaware that they had hit a cyclist.
Authorities shared photos of some of the headlight parts from the car that hit the woman.
