Seahawks' Tyler Lockett wants to be the next Will Smith

Tyler Lockett is a making a name for himself on the football field for the Seahawks, but the charismatic wide receiver also has his eye directed at some stars off the field: on Hollywood Boulevard.

Lockett spoke to 710 ESPN Seattle's Danny, Dave and Moore about a few commercials he's starred in recently, including a few with Auburn Volkswagen. Lockett said he has no real experience performing in front of a camera but wants to be an actor.

Check out some of Lockett’s other work. There’s no denying his skills, and the 23-year-old has said he is often mistaken for a high schooler. Maybe he’d be a good fit for a “Fresh Prince” reboot. Here’s how he and his Hollywood heroes stack up.

“Just in one show and one movie to say that I did it,” he said. “I think that I could be a good Denzel, good Will Smith. They need some new actors that are gonna get out there. I think I could be a good one.”

“Sometimes I might just sit there and be on the phone and just be acting, creating my own scene and just go with the flow.”
