FULSHEAR, Texas — A Texas police department shared body camera footage and a sense of humor after officers were called about a trespassing alligator “swimming naked” in a hot tub “without regard to the owner’s wishes.”
The tongue-in-cheek post on social media by the Fulshear Police included a video of officers snaring the small reptile in a hot tub and then loading it into a patrol vehicle.
“The suspect resisted at first but was soon arrested and later released without further incident,” the agency said on social media.
One of the officers even grew fond of the alligator during their brief interaction.
“You’re so pretty, I’m going to name you Emma,” he can be heard saying on the video.
