LAS VEGAS — Not only are students having to adjust not interacting in person with their classmates and teachers, but educators are also missing out on interacting and connecting with their students this year.

Instead of just staring at a computer monitor, seeing headshots of a classroom of fifth graders in “Brady Bunch” fashion on Zoom, a teacher in Las Vegas has come up with a way to have that personal interaction with her kids.

Tara Swartz, who teaches at Somerset Academy Lone Mountain, took a page out of the MLB’s playbook and created cardboard cutouts of her class, KVVU reported.

Swartz reached out to parents asking for a photo of their children to create the cardboard classroom, the news station reported.
