TACOMA, Wash. — A crew with the Tacoma Fire Department rescued two hikers Sunday night from a cliff at Point Defiance Park.
Rescuers said the hikers got stranded about 9 p.m. and were approximately 70 feet below the Tacoma Narrows Bridge’s viewpoint on Five Mile Drive. The hikers were stuck on the cliff for a couple of hours.
Rescuers, along with the help of Fire Boat Destiny, pulled the people to safety one at a time, officials said.
