EVERETT, Wash. — After searching Friday for a person possibly missing in Silver Lake, a body was found Saturday morning, Everett police said.
The body was discovered around 10:30 a.m.
On Friday afternoon, a resident in the area reported seeing someone struggling in the water near a boat, police said.
Approximately an hour after crews arrived, there was still no sign or confirmation of a missing person.
When police and fire crews responded to Silver Lake, they found an empty boat in the water.
Snohomish County deputies searched Saturday morning and found the body of a man in his 40s.
Crews recovered the body, and the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the identity.
