BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Crews remained at the scene Thursday morning after a three-alarm fire tore through two businesses in Bellingham Wednesday night.
Police said fire crews were called to Clark Feed and Seed at 1326 Railroad Ave. around 7:30 p.m.
That fire spread next door to Avalon Records, making it a 3-alarm call, officials said.
Clark's Feed and Seed shares a wall with Hohl's Feed and Seed. Hohl's burned down in February.
East Magnolia between Railroad and North State Street was closed so crews could battle the flames.
Police say a transient named Jonathan Wolfe admitted to setting the February fire at that business to stay warm.
Wolfe pleaded guilty to reckless burning and got credit for time served. He was released from jail in March.
