Man injured in rollover crash on I-5 in Everett

EVERETT, Wash. — A 39-year-old man was hurt Friday evening in a rollover collision on Interstate 5 in Everett, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened on southbound I-5 at Milepost 190 near 60th Street.

Trooper Keith Leary told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News an Arlington man was driving a Ford F-250 truck when he struck another vehicle in the HOV lane, then crossed over all lanes to the right and rolled over.

Medics rushed to the scene and took the man to Swedish in Edmonds as a precaution, and he is expected to be OK. The occupants in the other vehicle were OK.

According to State Patrol, the man was traveling at a high rate and using all lanes.

According to State Patrol, speed was a factor in the collision and troopers are still investigating to whether alcohol was also a factor.
