SEATTLE — Teen thieves have reportedly struck again, this time hitting a West Seattle gift shop and a salon.

On Thursday, the owner of Alair said three teens walked into the store and two of them cornered her while the third went into the back room and cased the register.

Seattle police said they interviewed another business owner who owns a salon down the street from Alair, who said she was cutting someone’s hair when the group of teens came in and stole her purse.

When a customer walked into the store, those teens were scared off, the owner told police.

She reportedly recognized the group from Alair’s surveillance video.

Police said they are investigating to find out if the thieves are connected to similar thefts that have been happening from Ballard to West Seattle, where teens have been stealing credit cards and cash from business owners.
