A suspicious death investigation is underway after a man was found dead Friday in Pacific.
Police said they were called about 5:38 a.m. to the 200 block of Steward Road Southeast for a report of suspicious circumstances.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had visible wounds dead outside a building, officials said.
The victim, believed to be between 25 and 35 years old, has not been identified, and the Pierce County Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death, officials said.
Police said they are investigating the man’s death as a homicide.
Investigators are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity during the early morning hours in the area of Stewart Road to call 253-288-2121.
