Silver Alert issued for 73-year-old Lacey man canceled

LACEY, Wash. — A Silver Alert  issued for a Lacey man has been canceled.

Police were looking for 73-year-old Roy M. Smith, who is described as an endangered missing person.

He was driving a gray Volkswagen Jetta with Washington license plate AZJ8127.

The Washington State Patrol says Silver Alerts are issued for anyone 60 and over who is suffering from dementia.

He is 6 feet tall, weighs 270 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes, according to AmberAlert.com.
