RENTON, Wash. — A car was hit by gunfire during a drive-by shooting early Wednesday on I-405 in Renton.
Washington State Patrol troopers said it happened at the Sunset onramp to northbound I-405 shorty before 5 a.m.
The suspect’s car got off the freeway at the next exit on 30th at the top of the Kennydale Hill and continued east on 30th, followed by the victim in their car.
Though the victim’s car was hit multiple times, the driver was not struck by gunfire.
More shots were then fired from the suspect’s car.
The incident is under investigation.
