The Seattle Police Department recently accepted a challenge by the Norfolk Police Department in Virginia to participate in the lip sync battle, a friendly competition between law enforcement agencies across the country.

After being challenged by the Corinth Police Department in Texas, Norkfolk police accepted and made a video of the department dancing to Bruno Mars' hit song "Uptown Funk."

"YOUR WAIT IS OVER!!!! The Norfolk Police Department was challenged by the Corinth Police Department, Texas to a #lipsync battle and we gladly accepted. As you can see we all had a great time filming the video, which we have to point out was done in #onetake," the department said Monday on Facebook.
As of Tuesday night, the video had more than 25 million views.
Along with the Seattle Police Department, Norfolk police also challenged the Norfolk police in the United Kingdom, the Virginia Beach Police Department and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

Here are other agencies that have participated in the lip sync battle:
Alexander Mena of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office lip-synced "Fuiste Mala."
The Fort Worth Police Department answered the challenge with Alanis Morissette's hit "Ironic."
Dallas officers went with what they called old school with "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."
Corinth Police Department shows it will be a "Party in the U.S.A." for Fourth of July.
Hickory Creek Police Department had some "Summer Lovin'" from "Grease" with a couple of backup singers, before breaking into Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" and Selena's "Baila Esta Cumbia."
Instead of lip-syncing, Del Rio police officer Oscar Gonzalez sang in his post.
Spartansburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright put his own law-enforcement spin to the challenge. He performed Soggy Bottom Boys' "In the Jailhouse Now."
