Search underway for attempted kidnapping suspect in white van

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A search is underway for a man who tried to force a woman into his van on Saturday in Bellevue.

Bellevue police said it happened at 6:20 p.m. near Northup Way and 108th Avenue Northeast.

The man threatened the victim with a knife, but she was able to flag down another car, and that is when he fled, heading westbound on State Route 520 toward Seattle, authorities said.

The suspect is described as Black, in his 20s, 5 feet, 9 inches to 10 inches tall with a slender build.

Police are looking for a 90s model white Dodge Caravan.

He was wearing a black hat, black and gray hoodie and gray jeans.
