The Grant County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an inmate at the Grant County Jail from Sunday morning.
Corrections officers alerted medical responders who came at approximately 10:45 a.m. to find the inmate in his bunk. After attempting CPR and other life-saving measures, the inmate was declared dead.
Coroner Craig Morrison will conduct an autopsy. The identity of the inmate will be released Monday.

A detective will investigate cause of death.
