Police say Derrick Holland, 38, who had been wanted in connection with the recent shooting death of a man in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood, has been booked into jail in King County.
Jail records show he was booked at 10:35 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of homicide.
A spokesperson for Seattle police would not provide details Sunday surrounding Holland’s arrest.
Police have not released a motive in the shooting.
Last week, the department identified Holland in connection with the shooting death of a 51-year-old man Sunday, Aug. 4, outside a bar in the 5700 block of Rainier Avenue South.
Holland, whom police previously said should be considered armed and dangerous, may make his first court appearance Monday.
