Pedestrian struck by car in White Center

KING COUNTY, Wash. — An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was struck by a car Saturday in White Center.

King County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Ryan Abbott said a 60-year-old man was hit in the crosswalk.

The man suffered broken bones and head injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition, Abbott said.
