BELLEVUE, Wash. — The suspect in a December bank robbery in Bellevue is now in custody.

The robbery happened on Dec. 21, around 3:20 p.m., at Columbia Bank near Bellevue Way and North East 10th Street in the Kelsey Creek neighborhood.

Officials believe this suspect may be responsible for other robberies in the area.

Officials say the suspect handed the bank teller a note and that is when police were called.

Police said the suspect fled in a black car and was described as a mixed race male, around 25 years old and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He had a black face covering, white gloves and a yellow construction vest, according to a tweet from the department.
