A police pursuit ended Thursday night in a crash that involved a school bus and other vehicles.
Officers were at the scene in Lakewood near Steilacoom Boulevard and Lakewood Drive around 5 p.m.
Only a driver was on the school bus at the time of the crash, police said.
One person was critically injured, one was seriously injured and four people suffered minor injuries, fire officials said.
Three other cars were also involved in the crash.
Police said a suspect fleeing at high speeds from Pierce County deputies caused the crash.
The roadway was closed to traffic while officials investigated and responded to the injured.
