SEATTLE — The median price of a house in Seattle has hit a high of $700,000.
That's double the median price from just five years ago.
The new numbers were released Thursday by the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.
Though you’ll pay less for a home in Snohomish and Pierce counties, prices in both have jumped about 11 percent in the last year.
King County's new high is also nearly $600,000.
In Skagit County, an inventory shortage continues to plague buyers.
According to the Skagit Valley Herald, home sales have outpaced new listings for the past year and a half.
