SEATTLE — The Seattle Mariners have signed former All-Star outfielder Carlos Gonzalez to a minor league contract, according to multiple reports.
The deal was first reported by Bob Nightengale of USA Today. The Associated Press says the deal is pending a successful physical.

Last year, Gonzalez played in 30 games with the Cleveland Indians and 15 games for the Chicago Cubs.
Gonzalez, 34, was named an All-Star in 2012-13 and 2016 with the Colorado Rockies.
In 12 MLB seasons, Gonzalez has a combined .285 batting average with 234 home runs and 785 runs batted in.
Pitchers and catchers report to the Mariners’ spring training in Peoria, Arizona on Wednesday.
