Man armed with sawed-off shotgun robs Gig Harbor store

The suspect was wearing a red and black hooded sweatshirt, a blue bandana over his face and black pants. He fled in a beige sedan toward State Route 16.  

GIG HARBOR, Wash. — A man carrying a sawed-off shotgun held up a Gig Harbor convenience store early Thursday.

The man walked into the store in the 6600 block of Wollochet Drive at 5:24 a.m., displayed the gun and then demanded money.

After taking cash, he fled in a beige sedan toward State Route 16.
