SEATTLE — KeyArena is officially no more.
The benchmark red neon sign that sat atop the longtime home of the Sonics for more than 25 years was hoisted away Wednesday at Seattle Center.

The Seattle Center venue is now known as Climate Pledge Arena after Amazon secured the naming rights last month.
A helicopter and crews on the roof helped remove the iconic KeyArena sign and key symbol one at a time.
This will be the new home of Seattle’s NHL team and the WNBA’s Seattle Storm.
Construction is still on going at the site.
