Detectives seize guns and drugs from suspected dealer in Fife

FIFE, Wash. — Detectives with the Seattle Police Department seized four handguns, more than 1,300 oxycodone pills and other drugs from a suspected drug dealer.

Police said they arrested the 34-year-old man on Tuesday after the tracked him to an apartment complex in Fife. Police said that, when they arrested the man, they found a loaded handgun in his bag.

Detectives later served a warrant on the man’s apartment and said they found three additional pistols – two in a shoebox and one tucked underneath a pillow on the man's bed.

Police said the man is a convicted felon and therefore is unable to legally possess firearms.

Officials said they also found 1,300 oxycodone pills, 185 Xanax pills and 33 grams of cocaine.

The man was booked into the Pierce County jail on narcotics and weapons charges.
