Two people were found dead in a home in Mason County on Friday night.
The death investigation is underway on Northeast Newkirk Road, north of Belfair.
The Mason County Sheriff's Office said deputies and troopers are at the scene.
There were two children, ages 6 and 3, but were not at the home when the deaths happened.
Detectives told KIRO 7 that a man and a woman, who were a couple, were found dead inside their home.
Investigators said the couple's 6-year-old daughter came home from school and made the discovery. She ran to alert a neighbor.
