A woman escaped with only minor injuries after her car slammed into a pole early Wednesday.

The crash happened on 15th Avenue South between South State Street and South Holgate Street. All northbound and southbound lanes were blocked at the scene in the north Beacon Hill neighborhood. The have since reopened.
No one else was hurt.
The 32-year-old driver appeared to have struck the pole on the driver’s side door.
