BREMERTON, Wash. — Two package thieves were caught in Bremerton Friday thanks to a vigilant neighbor.
A neighbor saw the thieves pillaging from a porch and called 911.
The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office said the two thieves were caught by officers who arrived and found the man and woman hiding inside a nearby house.
They were booked into the Kitsap County Jail. Police said the stolen package and its contents were recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Police said the thieves had changed their clothes and tried to alter their appearances.
