SEATTLE — Bloodworks Northwest needs blood donors after a shooting Wednesday at a Florida high school that killed at least 17 people.

"We are sending a small shipment of blood to Florida's OneBlood and need your help to replenish the local supply," officials with Bloodworks Northwest said Wednesday evening.

O- blood donations, AB plasma and platelets are especially needed to treat survivors of the school shooting in Florida.
