ARLINGTON, Wash. — Arlington police need the public’s help in identifying a violent criminal who has robbed three different shops in the last week, all at knife point.
In the past week-and-a-half following businesses have been robbed:
July 19th: Shell gas station in the 3300 block of 172nd St NE
July 23rd: Little Cesar’s Pizza in the 17300 block of Smokey Point Blvd
July 20th: Smokey Point Motor Inn in the 17300 block of Smokey Point Drive
In each instance, police said the suspect threatened to stab and slash workers if they didn’t follow his orders.
“It was straight out of a movie, he’s throwing a knife around. He’s watching too many action movies,” said Trenton Washer, manager of the robbed Little Caesar’s Pizza store.
So far, nobody's been hurt.
Going forward, though, Arlington police are worried that’ll change.
“If one of the clerks or the tellers decides that they’ve had enough, they don’t want to deal with it, it could be really, really serious injury or death to them,” said Sgt. Peter Barrett, Arlington Police.
According to officers, the suspect is described as 5′4″-5′6″ in height, and approximately 120-125lbs in weight, and wearing dark framed glasses.
