AUBURN, Wash. — A 2-year-old boy was killed Monday afternoon after he was run over while riding his bike.
The incident happened at a parking lot in the 1200 block of 30th Street Southeast before 1 p.m.
Investigators said a woman was backing out of a parking space and didn’t see the boy riding his bike.
Police said the driver and the boy lived at the same complex.
The boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he died.
Investigators said the incident appears to be an accident.
