Fire damages University Place nail salon

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. — Investigators are determining the cause of a fire that damaged a University Place nail salon Saturday morning.

At about 5:30 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire at 7626 27th Street West.

When crews arrived, they found the roof of a nail salon to be fully involved.

A woman in her mid 20s was treated for minor smoke inhalation and released from the scene.

The fire was under control about an hour later.

According to fire officials, the cause remains under investigation.
