EATONVILLE, Wash. — Police identified a 13-year-old boy believed to be responsible for a “kill list” threatening classmates at his middle school.
Investigators said eighth-grade Eatonville Middle School student Skyler LeBeau had several lists in his notebook – a “kill list,” “eternal kill list,” “no kill list” and an “eternal no kill list.”
A classmate saw the lists and told school officials, who then called police. A "today's kill list" was found in a recycling bin in LeBeau's math classroom, police said.
Police records showed LeBeau had access to guns he used for hunting and pictures posted on his Facebook page showed the 13-year-old posing with guns.
A school official said LeBeau was immediately expelled and the school left a recorded message for parents of every student.
The boy is in juvenile detention in Tacoma. He pleaded not guilty to four counts of felony harassment Monday.
LeBeau will appear in court again on Thursday when a judge will decide whether he will be released.
