BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police are investigating the death of a teenager who was dead Wednesday night.

At 7:41 p.m., officers responded to a report of an unconscious individual outside of a home in the 600 block of 153rd Avenue Northeast.

Bellevue police called the death suspicious earlier in the evening.

The victim was later determined to be a 17-year-old girl from Snohomish County.

When officers arrived, they found the victim in the backyard of the home. She was declared dead at the scene.
